Payments are non-refundable except in the event of weather cancellations. Weather cancellations are at the discretion of the captain. If it's going to rain a little, we will still go out. If there are high winds or lightning, it will no longer be safe to take the trip and we will not risk your safety. In the event of a weather cancellation, you will have the option of getting a refund or rescheduling the trip for a different day.

No. All our charters are private, meaning you will only be on board with those you bring with you and your captain. You will not be fishing or cruising with other parties.

Yes. You are permitted to bring your own alcoholic beverages. However, if at any point someone in your group becomes belligerent or unable to control themselves, for the safety of all on board we will end the trip and return to shore. No refunds or prorated discounts will be permitted in this event.

Yes. Children of all ages are welcome, as long as there are enough responsible adults on board to ensure they remain safe. Children under the age of 13 are legally required to wear a coast guard approved life preserver at all times while on the vessel. While we do have these available, we encourage you to bring your own (if you have one) to ensure they're comfortable with an adequate fit. Small children tend to reach their limit and lose interest before the 4 hour trip is up. We recommend bringing plenty of snacks to help keep them occupied. If at any point your child is uncomfortable, you are able to return to shore if desired.

A fishing license is required for all anglers ages 17 and older. It is no longer required of you to carry a physical copy of your fishing license. You can purchase a day pass at takemefishing.org and if needed you can show proof of your license on your phone.

Yes! Your catch is yours to do with as you wish. As long as the catch is of legal size and within the daily bag limit for that species, you can catch and release, take it home with you, or have us filet the fish. **As per our policy, all viable trophy class Catfish over 10 pounds are catch and release only!**

Yes, fish cleaning is included in the price of all private trips as long as it falls within the time frame of the trip. Talk to your captain about fish cleaning if this is something you wish to have done.

No. There are no guarantees in nature. We cannot guarantee the weather or the appetite of the fish, but we do guarantee our best effort. However, if you trust your captain and follow his instructions, you'll have much better luck bringing in the catch.
